Kidsnautique, an innovative Dutch company which focuses on the tripod: children, safety and water, has the premier of launching two new innovative products at BOOT Dusseldorf: the SeaSwing Sailing and S’iren.
The combination of kids and water frightens lots of parents with small children. This often leads to difficult decisions like selling the favorite sailing boat when the children are young. Furthermore, living close to water or ponds and swimming pools is scary, since children might fall into the water unnoticed. Thanks to the introduction of two new products of Kids Nautique these problems will become history:
The Seaswing Sailing (www.seaswing.com) is a gimbaled chair for children aged 0 up to 4 years (18 kilo) on board of sailing boats. It can be mounted to the mast support inside or outside in the cabin with a special developed winch adaptor. The modular system can be used in combination with a Maxi Cosi or Romer baby car seat for small children. For toddlers a special comfortable seat is available with a 5-point safety harness. A fine solution for parents in case they want to sail with their babies / toddlers during normal whether conditions. The Seaswing can also be used in the kitchen at home while parents are cooking. This prevents your children reaching for hot pans and boiling water and the kids can be fed during the cooking process. So the Seaswing can be used 365 days a year!
The S’iren is an alarm for kids around water and swimming pools that alerts parents and bystanders when a child (or adult) falls into the water. A small beacon (72 x 40 mm’) is released immediately after contact with water. An acoustic signal automatically starts to warn all bystanders. Its intelligent design is re-useable with proven and tested technology. The child will not mind wearing the S’iren because it is light and easy to wear on the belt of a lifejacket.
